A small group of friends, one shared resolve — and a decade of service to Vadodara.
The Story Behind the Trust
In 2014, Vinay Pandya and a handful of young neighbours came together as Omkareshwar Yuvak Mandal. What began with organising Ganesh Chaturthi and Holika Dahan celebrations soon became something deeper — a promise to stand by the community in every season of life.
Year after year the mandal's work widened: Diwali sweets for families in need, Sharad Purnima gatherings, tree plantation, cleanliness drives, and quiet help for anyone who asked. When the COVID-19 pandemic struck in 2020, the volunteers did not step back — they stepped forward, delivering food packets, medicines, and emergency support to isolated families and migrant workers.
In 2022, the Vadodara Municipal Corporation honoured the mandal with the VMC Cleanliness Award, recognising years of consistent environmental work. Encouraged by this trust, the group formally registered as Shree Omkareshwar Charitable Trust in 2025 — with a clear mission: disability support, livelihood for widows, and emergency assistance, all free of cost.

The Beginning
Vinay Pandya founds Omkareshwar Yuvak Mandal with local youth — festivals, community bonding, and the first small acts of seva.
COVID-19 Relief
Through the lockdown, volunteers distribute food packets and medicines, and arrange emergency help for stranded families and workers.
VMC Cleanliness Award
Vadodara Municipal Corporation honours the mandal for sustained cleanliness and environmental drives.
Registered Charitable Trust
Formal registration as Shree Omkareshwar Charitable Trust (Reg. No. E/9092/Vadodara) — structured, transparent, accountable seva.
